Racing with our Alaskan Huskies

John and I have competed in a variety of races, from six dog "mid-distance" to 200 mile Iditarod qualifiers with a 12-dog team.  In 2008 our two teams were ranked first and second in the overall standings by the International Sled Dog Race Association (ISDRA). 

Some of my most memorable races include my first one where  I ran a combined team of malamutes with Alaskan leaders and was amazed that we didn't finish last. In subsequent years, my Alaskan team would go on to win that race twice. Other highlights include competing at the 300 mile Attaboy Stage Race, World Championships, and Eagle Cap Extreme 200 mile race.
